Bory Tucholskie

Kaszuby, Bory Tucholskie, Chojnice – places friendly to travelers with dogs. We found out about it ourselves. Psia Góra located on Swornigaciami welcomed Sisi, Danka and Ivonka not only with their dog name but also with the beach and water which they could use without restrictions.

Bory Tucholskie is one of the largest and most beautiful forest complexes in Pomerania. Some of them are protected by the “Bory Tucholskie” National Park. Interestingly, the Park covers only 2% of the entire area of Borów. There are many interesting places in the National Park, which are tourist attractions. Many attractions are offered by the town of Charzykowy, located by the lake. Another interesting place is the town of Swornegacie. The name Swornegacie comes from the combination of two words: swora (braided pine twigs) and protect (strengthening the shores of the lake). This town is actually a gateway to Bory Tucholskie and the southern part of Kashubia. The village is situated in an extremely charming area of lakes and forests, which makes it a great place for active rest in the bosom of nature. The next stop is Chojnice. Chojnice is a small but historic town which, like the neighboring towns, played a role in the Teutonic and Thirteen Years’ War.
