Another trip to the Stolowe Mountains is behind us. This time we saw Skalne Grzyby up close, we conquered Garncarz and Piekielna Góra. In the evening, traditionally, the ForRest restaurant served us delicious food. We recommend!
Skalne Grzyby are located in the south-eastern part of the stoliwa of the Stołowe Mountains. They stretch along the lower level of the Stołowe Mountains between Batorowo and Radkowskie Skały on the south-western side of the plateau.
It is a group of originally shaped rock forms with different density, scattered at an altitude of approx. 680-700 m above sea level. and about 2 km long, often stacked on top of each other. The rocks are shaped like mushrooms, clubs, towers and gates. A number of rock forms have their own names, these are, for example, “Borowik”, “Rock Gates”, “Cured Mushrooms”, “Penguins”, “Storied Mushrooms”.
